Q: Who is the person behind Dingo Tours?
A: That would be Fred, our founder and lead explorer! Originally from Brazil, Fred brought that famous Brazilian hospitality and a sense of adventure to San Francisco over 20 years ago. He’s the heart of the company, combining a deep love for California history with a relaxed, “no-worries” attitude.
Q: Why the name “Dingo Tours”?
A: It’s a nod to Fred’s memories! Dingo was Fred’s first pet and this pet was a beautiful pig. It was a 3 years old boy (Fred) made up word for his new gift. After 6 months that pig desaper. Some say he rum away and others say that the weekend after there was a great barbecue at Fred’s home. And that was when the second Dingo came along. But at this time he was a dog, a beuteful Pekingese dog that last for much longer than 6 months and didnt desappeared. We wanted a name that stood out from the typical, corporate tour companies. It represents a our spirit: independent, adaptable, and always ready to find the best path off the beaten track.
