Yosemite National Park Private Tour

Why go private? Most visitors spend their day fighting for parking or waiting for shuttle buses. A Dingo Tours private excursion flips the script.

  • Door-to-Door Service: Skip the early morning drive to a meeting point. We pick you up directly from your San Francisco or Bay Area hotel.
  • Your Pace, Your Path: Unlike rigid bus schedules, we can linger at Glacier Point for that perfect photo or spend extra time hiking the Mirror Lake Trail.
  • Expert Narratives: Our guides don’t just drive; they are storytellers. Learn about the Buffalo Soldiers, John Muir’s legacy, and the unique geology that carved the granite monoliths.

Yosemite is a living landscape that changes every month. We adapt our private tours to the season:

Winter (Dec – March): A snowy wonderland. This is also the time for the famous “Firefall” at Horsetail Fall in late February (private tours are the best way to navigate the strict permit and parking requirements).

Spring (May – June): Peak waterfall season. The spray at Bridalveil Fall is at its most powerful.

Summer (July – Sept): Access to Tioga Road and high-country meadows like Tuolumne.

Cost:

13 hours private tour (up to 5 people): $1,360.00

$90.00 per extra hour

National Park Service (NPS) USA non-residente fee
(16 and older) is not included

Yosemite National Park Private Tour FAQ

Q: Is Yosemite really doable as a day trip from San Francisco?

A: It’s a big day, but it’s one of our most popular for a reason. We leave early (usually around 6:00 AM) and handle the 4-hour drive so you can rest. You’ll get about 5 to 6 solid hours inside the park—enough to see the “Big Three” (El Capitan, Half Dome, and Yosemite Falls) and still be back in the city for a late dinner.

Q: What are the absolute “must-see” stops on this tour?

A: We hit the icons! We stop at Tunnel View for that legendary panoramic shot, visit the base of Yosemite Falls (the tallest in North America), and stand beneath the granite monolith of El Capitan. If seasonal roads are open, we also aim for Glacier Point or a walk through the Tuolumne Grove of Giant Sequoias.

Q: Do we have to worry about the new Yosemite entry reservations?

A: Not at all. That’s a huge benefit of going private with Dingo. We handle all the park entry permits and vehicle reservations for you. You don’t have to wake up at 8:00 AM months in advance to fight for a slot on a government website—we’ve got it covered.

Q: Can we customize our time in the Valley?

A: 100%. If you’re a photographer and want to wait 30 minutes for the perfect light at Valley View, we wait. If you’d rather skip the visitor center and do a heart-pumping hike to Vernal Fall, we’ll drop you at the trailhead and meet you when you’re done. It’s your day, not a bus driver’s schedule.

Q: What is the cost for the private Yosemite experience?

A: For a full 12-to-13-hour private expedition, the rate is typically $1,360 for up to 5 people. This includes your private guide, luxury transport, fuel, and park entry fees. Compared to the price of individual bus tickets for a large family, the private SUV/Minivan is often a much better value (and way more comfortable).

Q: Are there any extra fees I should know about?

A: 2026 National Park Service (NPS) USA non-residente fee (16 and older) is not included.
